Planting ceremony of 27 star saplings was held.
A ceremony of planting saplings of 27 Nakshatras was held in the Chellantiyamman temple complex of Tha. Pettai.Kaduvetti Thiagarajan MLA for the program. He took the lead and planted saplings.Earlier, a special Abhishaka and Aradhana was held for Chellandiyamman.
Sankalpam was held by sitting the persons belonging to 27 Nakshatras.After that 27 star saplings were planted in the temple premises.At that time, everyone prayed together for rain, agriculture to flourish, children to excel in education, and for the good of the world.
DMK Union Secretary Periyasamy, District Deputy Secretary Mailavaganan, Chief Executive Committee Member Apple Ganesan,City Secretaries Tomat Thangarasu, Dharmaraj, District Councilor Krishnamurthy,Dharmaraj, district councilor Krishnamurthy, DMK executive Prabhakaran, village chiefs and others were present.
